From August 20 to 22, 2025, the 11th Worldwide Educators Conference (WWEC 2025) was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). This conference was co-organized by CIFAL Shanghai. The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) served as the guiding unit for this conference.

Mr. Alexander Mejia, Director of Division for People and Social Inclusion and Head of UNITAR CIFAL Global Network, attended the conference and delivered the keynote speech at the opening ceremony. In his speech, Mr. Mejia addressed key issues in global education development and emphasized the crucial role of education in promoting global sustainable development.

The conference launched the "UN Sustainable Development Holistic Education Growth" initiative, calling on the global education community to work together to promote educational equity and sustainable development.
