March 28^th, 2018, the UNIDO Global Science and Technology Innovation Network project director Dr. Raymond Tavares and project assistant Ms. Emi Mima visited Shanghai Global Science and Technology Innovation Center and discussed the project progress. The meeting was fruitfully and successfully.

Mr. Wang Genxiang, the director of Shanghai Global Science and Technology Innovation Center introduced the work progress of 2017, and discussed the workplan 2018, project budget and recruitment plan with project members. As Mr. Wang Genxiang mentioned during the meeting, the 2^nd UNIDO Global Science and Technology Innovation Conference is holding in November 2018, and the Global Innovation Report is publishing in 4^th season 2018. Dr. Raymond Tavares highly praised achievements did by Shanghai Global Science and Technology Innovation Center and expressed fully support for the project.

Dr. Raymond Tavares also discussed the sign ceremony of new UNIDO project, Intelligent manufacturing technology and its application in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with project members from Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center.
