Mr. Wang Genxiang，Director of CIFAL Shanghai and Mr. Wu Yugang， Duty Director of CIFAL Shanghai had a friendly visit to United Nations Institute For Training and Research (UNITAR) in Geneva, Switzerland on April 27th, 2012. They met Ms Amal MEDANI, the assistant Director of UNITAR and discussed the CIFAL Shanghai’s activity plan in 2012 and the renew cooperation agreement between UNITAR and CIFAL Shanghai, as well as the possibility of setting up UNITAR Office in China.

Ms Amal MEDANI said, UNITAR will continue to support CIFAL Shanghai and she admired CIFAL Shanghai for the fast progress in developing China Training Network. CIFAL Shanghai is very grateful to the UNITAR’s support in many years, and pledged to earnestly carry out international cooperation and exchange and training programs in the Asia-Pacific region.

UNITAR, one of the organizers of the 2012 Global City Informatization Forum, has agreed to the preparatory agenda of 2012 Global City Informatization Forum and gladly accepted the invitation of the organizing committee to participate the Forum.
